The 2022 Sail Canada Annual General Meeting will take place on October 21st, 2022.
Sail Canada Board of Directors, Staff, Provincial Sailing Associations, Committees, Coaches and Partner Representatives will meet in advance of the AGM to establish projects and working plans for 2023 and beyond, based on the confirmed organizational priorities, as outlined in the Strategic Plan.
The theme for Sail Canada’s 2022 AGM and Leader Summit is Safe Sport. As such Sail Canada has partnered with Inclusion INC to offer Safe Sport training to Sail Canada Board of Directors, Staff, Provincial Sailing Associations, Committee representatives in advance of the AGM.

The AGM will be held on Friday, October 21, 2022 at 6:00pm ADT (5:00pm EDT, 2:00pm PDT). The AGM will be a hybrid meeting – stakeholders can join in person in Halifax, NS at the Westin Nova Scotian or virtually via Zoom Webinar. Voting at the AGM will be conducted electronically with ElectionBuddy. Virtual meeting access will be sent directly to all members in good standing, by email, by October 19, 2022.

To be entitled to vote, on the business of the AGM, on behalf of a member organization, please submit a completed proxy form to sailcanada@sailing.ca
All registered virtual attendees, who hold proxies entitling them to vote on behalf of a Sail Canada member organization, will be emailed directly to be provided access to their unique voting url. Voting access will be sent directly to all eligible attendees, by email, by October 19, 2022.
