Inclusion diversity and equity

In its 2021-2024 Strategic Plan, Sail Canada identified “Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion” as one of the six fundamental values of the organization, and “improving accessibility to all Canadians, and attracting new participants” as one of the seven strategic actions of Sail Canada in the upcoming years.

Linked with the launch of the 2021-2024 Strategic Plan, Sail Canada put together an Inclusion, Diversity, and Equity (IDE) Committee, a panel of coaches, athletes, and community members across Canada dedicated to improving the accessibility of sailing for all Canadians.
