On Saturday, June 22, let’s celebrate the official start of summer and support the Canadian Sailing Team in preparation for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games! #RaiseYourSails and #GoSailing by taking part in #SummerSailstice.

On June 22, celebrate the 24th anniversary of this initiative by joining the international movement as #SummerSailstice aims to celebrate sailing around the world.

Canadian community challenge: Register your sailing hours!
On June 22 – a little more than one month away from the Paris 2024 Olympic Games -, the Canadian sailing community will aim to collectively reach a total of 700 hours on the water to match the distance of approximately 6,500 km that separates Kingston, Ontario, from Marseille, France, while sailing at an average speed of 5 knots. Marseille will be the host site for the 2024 Olympic sailing competition.

Canadian sailors are encouraged to record their sailing hours between June 22 up until Sunday, June 23, at 11:59.59pm (ET) and register to win one of the participation prizes through www.sailing.ca/gosailing.
