CYC is seeking a CANSail 3-4 Coach for its 2013 Sailing School
The Cobourg Yacht Club is located within the Cobourg Marina and Harbour approximately 60 miles east of Toronto. CYC is a small and welcoming yacht club with 61 Senior Members and 111 Associate Members. It actively promotes racing, cruising and a Learn to Sail Program for youth and adults.
The Sailing School was established in 1975 and offers instruction for everyone who wishes to discover the challenge and excitement of sailing – young and old alike. The School offers instruction in CANSail 1, 2, 3 and 4. There are also special dinghy courses tailored to adults.
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
· Sail Canada Certified Instructor for CANSail 3-4
· Current First Aid and CPR certification
· Current Bronze Medallion, NLS, Bronze Cross or Boat Rescue
· CCG Pleasure Craft Operator’s Card
The successful candidate will be a person who is enthusiastic, personable and possesses the ability to motivate people.
