The Port Credit Yacht Club, a premier club on Lake Ontario, is seeking application from experienced, qualified individuals for the position of Program Manager – Learn To Sail.
This is a ten month position starting January 2013 for management of the club’s learn-to-sail operations. The successful candidate will be accountable for ensuring that a high quality of product and service is maintained and that all programs operate efficiently and according to budget. The successful candidate will be responsible for hiring the coaching staff, promotion of the LTS programs, implementation of CANSail programs and adult sail programs. You will also act as liaison between the club, Sail Canada and Ontario Sailing. This position requires a highly motivated, hands-on professional, with a minimum of five years experience in a club environment, whose energy, creative and interpersonal skills will ensure outstanding service to the membership and program participants. You will report to the Director – Learn to Sail, VC Fleet and the Club Manager and attend Learn to Sail Committee meetings.
Prospective candidates should hold the following CYA certification – LTS Learning Evaluator, Program Manager Module, current CPR and First Aid certificates, Boat Safety, PCOC, and ROC (M)
